Growing up in Nigeria, I saw firsthand how people come together when someone is in need. Whether it was helping a family pay medical bills, supporting a student's education, or contributing to a community project, people gave what they could because that's who we are. Looking out for one another has always been part of our culture.
As more of our lives move online, I believe that spirit of generosity should move with us. We started Gathr to make it easier for people to rally around the causes that matter, through a platform that is trusted, transparent, and built for our communities.
My hope is that no one has to face life's biggest challenges alone. Whether you're asking for help or giving it, Gathr exists to make every contribution count and to strengthen the communities that bring us together.
